I know from a stint as an MMO addict that gamers have a thing about customizing their equipment and keyboards have long been the target of their creativity. SteelSeries introduces a whole new level to the game with their Shift gaming keyboard. It’s actually pretty cheap for all of the bang it gives you for your buck and I can imagine some WoW guild members might give up their lunch money for it.
The keyboard accommodates various Zboard set and is fully programmable with macro capabilities. You can set your board up to play the way you want it to and not have to worry about the speed of your mere mortal fingers keeping you from conquering whatever digital world you happen to be plundering at the moment.
And what good would a true gamer’s keyboard be if it played out after a couple hundred hours? This board features improved rubber bushings guaranteed to last for 15 million keystrokes. That’s a lot of spell casting right there.
You’re going to have to shell out $90 for the board and another $25 for your individual key set but in the world of custom gaming that’s child’s play.
